Shipping policy

At BaoMao, we are committed to delivering your order quickly and reliably. Below you will find details regarding our shipping regions, methods, costs, delivery times, and policies in the event of an issue with your shipment.

1. Shipping Regions

We currently ship to the following countries within the European Union:

Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary.

At this time, we do not ship outside the European Union.

2. Shipping Methods and Providers

We work with reliable shipping partners, primarily DHL and PostNL.

Free shipping thresholds:

  • €80 and above: Netherlands
  • €100 and above: Belgium & Luxembourg
  • €150 and above: Other EU countries

Shipping costs are calculated as a flat rate per country/region and are displayed at checkout once your address is entered.

3. Processing and Delivery Times

Orders placed before 18:00 CET on business days are processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Netherlands: 1 business day
  • Other EU countries: 1–5 business days, depending on the destination

During peak periods such as holidays or promotional sales, processing times may be slightly longer.

4. Tracking and Order Updates

All parcel orders include a tracking number so you can monitor your shipment.

Smaller items shipped via letterbox delivery do not include tracking, as they are designed to be delivered directly to your mailbox without requiring you to be home.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

5. Lost, Delayed, or Missing Packages

While rare, shipping issues can occur. If you experience a delay or problem with your order:

  • Lost or delayed packages: If your package is delayed or missing and the carrier has not contacted you, please email us at Customerservice@bao-mao.com. We will contact the carrier and assist you in resolving the issue.
  • Damaged or lost in transit: If your package arrives damaged or is confirmed lost by the carrier, contact us at Customerservice@bao-mao.com. We will investigate further with the shipping provider.
  • Marked as delivered but not received: If your order is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, contact us at Customerservice@bao-mao.com. We will investigate further with the shipping provider.

Please note: Once an order has been handed over to the courier, certain circumstances may be beyond our control. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to assist you in finding a solution.

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For orders shipped within the European Union, VAT is included in the price of your order.

If you order from outside the EU (when available in the future), additional customs duties or import taxes may apply, depending on your country’s regulations. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
