Is it really shatterproof?
Yes! The glasses are made from BPA free Tritan, a highly durable material designed to resist shattering and impact. We even drop tested them from our four storey rooftop terrace and they came away without a single scratch. Watch the drop test on TikTok.
Shouldn’t I avoid plastic and copolyester?
We believe single use plastic should be avoided whenever possible. However, there are situations where using real glass can create a safety risk, such as around pools, on boats, outdoors or around small children. In those moments, a durable and reusable material is a safer alternative. Our glasses are designed to be enjoyed again and again, not thrown away after a few uses.
What is Tritan?
Tritan is a high performance copolyester known for its durability and glasslike clarity. It is food contact safe, made without BPA, and resistant to impact, heat, stains and odors. It also maintains its clarity after repeated use and dishwasher cycles.
Can I use the glasses for hot beverages?
Yes, Tritan is temperature stable and suitable for both hot and cold beverages. However, the glasses are not insulated, so we do not recommend using them for boiling liquids as the outside may become uncomfortable to hold.
Will the glasses retain colours, tastes or odors?
No. Tritan has a smooth, nonporous surface and is resistant to stains, tastes and odors. Cleaning the glasses properly after every use will help maintain their crystal clear appearance. Please refer to the care guide above on this product page or here.
Are the glasses dishwasher safe?
Yes! The glasses are dishwasher safe and designed to maintain their clarity after repeated dishwasher cycles. Avoid abrasive sponges or cleaning products to keep them looking their best.
What is included in one set?
Each set contains four shatterproof glasses with a capacity of 330 ml each. They are lightweight which makes them easy to store, carry and use wherever you go.
Does the packaging have any added value?
Yes! The glasses arrive in a fabulously designed, sturdy paper tube. Instead of throwing it away, you can reuse it to store the glasses or safely transport them to your next picnic, pool day or outdoor destination.
